IDOE Special Programs serves as Indiana’s unified system for developing, managing, and securely housing student support documentation. Free for all K-12 schools, including nonpublic schools, the platform supports the creation and maintenance of required records, such as Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and monitoring documentation for multilingual learners. The platform is accessed via the IDOE Special Programs tile within the LINK Portal. A login guide for users can be found here. To access the platform, users must have the “Student Support Plans” role assigned to them in Data Exchange and complete the required Training Certification through the Special Programs Academy. District- and school-designated Technical Contacts, listed as IEP/ILP Support in the LINK Portal, are responsible for providing system access to users. Technical Contacts are users’ first point of contact if assistance is needed in accessing IDOE Special Programs or managing security roles.
