The Certificate of Multilingual Proficiency (CoMP), Indiana’s Seal of Biliteracy, is awarded to seniors who demonstrate high levels of proficiency in English and another language. It is a great way to celebrate students’ achievement in world language and honor the home language of English learners and heritage speakers. School corporations or nonpublic schools intending on participating in Indiana’s CoMP must renew their registration annually. Those wishing to participate in the 2025-2026 school year must sign up using this form by March 31, 2026. For more information, see the Certificate of Multilingual Proficiency webpage. LEAs can use this data template to track student progress and assist with data reporting at the end of the year. Contact IDOE’s Office of English Learning and Migrant Education with questions.
