To comply with Section 427 of GEPA, local educational agencies (LEAs) requesting IDEA Part B funds must have an approved GEPA statement of compliance on file. If an LEA needs to update its GEPA section 427 form, a new form will need to be completed and uploaded to the IDOE’s grant management system. The GEPA form can be found in Moodle>Fiscal>Part B Grants for Special Education>FY26 Grant Information>GEPA Section 427. All questions must be answered on the GEPA form.
