WIDA will be facilitating two separate, in-person PD sessions this fall, open to Indiana educators of ELs free of charge. The first, titled Scaffolding Learning through Language, is a two-day workshop on September 30 and October 1 in Pike Township in Indianapolis. Registration and a description of the session can be found here. Additionally, on Thursday, October 2, a full-day session titled Engaging Secondary Newcomers in Content Area Literacy will also be held at Pike Township. This session’s registration and information can be found here . The deadline to register for either opportunity is Friday, September 12.
