IDOE’s Office of Special Education is offering multiple outreach opportunities for Indiana special education directors and administrators through the 2026-2027 school year. • The Directors Symposium will resume monthly to provide relevant updates on policy and resources that guide directors toward achieving higher rates of compliance in their corporation’s reporting. • The new Director Foundations sessions will begin in August and allow participants to ask questions and gain foundational information on director responsibilities and compliance. • The reformatted Lead and Listen sessions will be hosted by fellow Indiana special education directors, who will share tips and resources that have helped them develop and maintain special education programs.
