A list of funding sources available to LEAs to cover costs (whole or in-part) for residential placements, day school, or 1:1 specialized services can be accessed here. LEAs should utilize these funds prior to applying for funding or invoicing through Special Education Excess Costs (SEEC) to ensure that IDOE can cover the most-costly and exceptional student needs.
