House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1484, signed into law in 2019, states that schools may administer assessments annually to deaf and hard of hearing children between the ages of three to 11 years old. If an assessment listed on the approved list is administered, the results are to be reported to the Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education.
